Find Your Music Blind Spot

As callers, we all have our favorite songs.

Some songs just work. They provide a sense of security. They create a good atmosphere. They suit the voice. And that's precisely why they keep appearing in the program.

The problem is that we often don't realize how often we call certain songs. At the same time, other tracks remain in the playlist, even though they might be perfect for the next evening.

With Callers Caddy 0.65 This blind spot becomes visible.

The new statistics window

The new version brings its own Statistics window with it. You'll find it in the menu. Opinion.

Above you can set what you want to see:

Location: all locations or a specific club night
Type: Pattern, singing, or both
Period: all the time, 5 years, 1 year, 3 months or 1 month

This way you can quickly see which songs you play most often overall. Or you can specifically look at a particular club or time period.

TOP, FLOP and never played

The statistics window shows you three clear columns:

TOP shows the most played songs.
Here you can immediately see which titles are used very often.

FLOP It shows songs you've rarely played before.
That doesn't mean these songs are bad. They just haven't been used much.

Never played Shows all songs that you haven't played yet using the current filters.
This is precisely where real treasures can turn up.

Double-clicking a song takes you directly to the song list, so you can continue working immediately.

The distribution at a glance

Callers Caddy shows a diagram below.

It shows how your songs are distributed according to the number of plays.

On the left are the songs that have never been played. These are followed by songs with few, medium, and many plays.

The colors help with quick identification:

Blue stands for rarely played.
Orange-red stands for frequently played.

When you hover your mouse over a bar, you'll see more details. Callers Caddy will then show you the area, the number of songs, and some sample titles.

Why this statistic is important

The statistics window is not a control instrument. It is a mirror.

It helps you plan variety more consciously. You'll recognize which songs you might be using too often. And you'll rediscover tracks that have been neglected for far too long.

This can be particularly valuable for club nights, special events, or classes. Good dramaturgy isn't just about choosing the next suitable song. It also arises from variety, timing, and deliberate selection.

With Callers Caddy 0.65 You'll get a simple overview of that.

You can see more than just what music you have.
You can see which music you actually use.
