Caller's Caddy – HotKeys

Sometimes, when calling, you just need to be quick. That's exactly what this is for. Callers Caddy so-called Hotkeys or Shortcuts.

This allows you to trigger important functions directly via your keyboard, without having to reach for the mouse and click a button.

Why hotkeys are so practical

Reaching for a single button is usually faster and easier than switching to the mouse. Especially when you want to start, pause, or stop a song immediately, this allows you to keep your attention more focused on the floor.

The Callers Caddy provides you with four fixed standard hotkeys for this purpose.

▶️ F5 – Play

With F5 You will start the currently selected song.

You don't have to search for the play button with the mouse; you can start the music directly via the keyboard.

⏸️ F6 – Pause

With F6 You pause playback.

Pressing the button again resumes the song from the same point. This is handy if you only want to pause the music briefly.

⏹️ F7 – Stop

With F7 You completely stop the currently playing song.

Unlike pausing, pausing stops the current playback and restarts the song at the beginning.

🔉 F8 – Fade Out

With F8 You start a soft fade-out.

The music doesn't end abruptly, but fades out gradually. This sounds much more pleasant and professional, especially at the end of a tip.
