A prototype has to show whether the idea works. It has to perform the most important tasks. That's exactly what the old player did. It wasn't particularly elegant. But it could do the important things.

Now almost all core functions are available in Callers Caddy. Therefore, the time was right to clean up the interface.

Function first, beauty later

The old player was a real workspace. The loop functions have their own, cleaner section.

This makes the player appear calmer. It is easier to read. And it is quicker to grasp.

This is especially important on stage.

A caller doesn't have time to search for long during a tip. The interface must be helpful. It makes working with the program more enjoyable. And it also shows to the outside world: Caller's Caddy is no longer just a technical prototype. It is gradually becoming a real tool for everyday callers.

For me, this redesign is therefore more than just a prettier player.

It is a visible step from experiment to finished product.

The player has matured.

The new player remains functional. But it appears clearer, calmer, and more professional.

That was exactly the goal.

First came the function.
