The new Dual-View That's exactly what it is for me.

With him you can use the Callers Caddy Bring two widgets to the front simultaneously and Display side-by-side as floating windows. This is especially useful if you don't just want to keep an eye on one widget, but need two things in parallel.

That's precisely what makes Dual View so powerful: you no longer have to decide which window is more important. You can bring both to the forefront simultaneously.

Keeping two important things in mind at the same time

Perhaps you know this feeling. On the one hand, you want the Lyrics see and on the other side the Sequences. Or you need two other widgets that are important at the same time.

Previously, this required panning, switching, or settling for a compromise. Dual-View makes it much more direct.

You can open any two docks simultaneously. Both will appear as floating windows side by side, using almost the entire screen. This gives you a large, clear workspace and allows you to focus on just these two items.

Especially useful for lyrics and sequences

The most obvious combination is certainly the one that many will take: Lyrics on the left, sequences on the right.

This is a prime example of why dual-view is more than just a visual effect. Both windows are conceptually linked in many situations. And now they can work seamlessly together on the screen.

You have the lyrics in view. At the same time, you see your sequences. This makes the work clearer and more direct.

Not only beautiful, but also flexible

Dual-view is not limited to a fixed layout. You can use different options. Latitude ratios choose.

Be available:

50:50

33:67

67:33

This is important because not every widget requires the same amount of space. Sometimes both windows should be the same size. Sometimes one side intentionally needs more space than the other.

This is precisely what makes the function not only impressive, but also suitable for everyday use.

The dual view is built into the rules.

Important: The dual view is No freely clickable function anywhere in the interface, but a Action within the rule system.

That means: You set it up using the rules and decide there, which two widgets are to be opened and what size ratio you receive.

This is exactly what makes the Caller's Caddy so well-suited. It allows you to integrate the dual-view feature precisely into the workflows that make sense for you.

Switch to dual view with one keystroke – and back again.

I find the toggle version particularly elegant.

You can assign a key in the rules to open Dual View. Your current layout will be saved automatically. If you press the key again later, the original layout will be restored exactly.

This is very noticeable in everyday life.

This way, dual-view doesn't become a permanent change to your interface, but rather a targeted focus mode for specific moments. You briefly switch to dual-view, use it precisely when you need it, and then seamlessly return to your original view.

These three actions are available

The rule editor offers three suitable actions for dual view:

dual_view opens two widgets side by side

dual_view_close Close both again and dock them back.

dual_view_toggle switches between dual view and original layout

This allows you to decide whether you simply open the dual view, close it again, or use it as a convenient switch.

A feature with real showmanship.

I think the dual-view is a very good example of how useful function and show effect can come together.

On the one hand, it simply looks impressive when two important windows open large and cleanly side by side. On the other hand, the whole thing has a real practical benefit.

You work with greater focus. You have to switch gears less. And you can create exactly the combination you need at that moment.

Conclusion

Dual-View brings another feature with a visible wow effect to the Caller's Caddy.

But it's not just about looking. This feature helps you in a very practical way in everyday life when you need two important widgets in the foreground at the same time. What's particularly nice is that you can configure the dual view using rules to perfectly suit your workflow.

This transforms a powerful view into a truly useful tool.
