One click is all it takes.

Moving the files has also been deliberately made easy.

You can change the status of a note by clicking on the symbol in front of it:

open checkbox = still open

green checkmark = done

One click – and the note moves to the appropriate place.

Alternatively, this can also be done via Drag and Drop.
You can simply move the entries with the mouse.

This keeps the whole process fast, direct and without complicated operation.

Especially helpful for prepared sessions

A major advantage lies in the ability to take notes. to save as a file and later again to add.

This is extremely useful if you are preparing something that you want to use again later in a similar form.

For example:

You plan a session for a specific occasion, save your notes – and can later load them again for a similar occasion.

This way you don't have to start from scratch every time.

Especially when good processes have proven effective, this is a real time saver.

Also ideal for classes.

This feature is also particularly exciting for Classes.

Because there, one often focuses not only on the music, but also on the learning level of the group.

For example:

Which figures should be repeated first?

What isn't secure yet?

Which new characters would you like to teach next?

What points do you want to consciously pay attention to in the next class?

Such things can now be recorded directly as notes about the appropriate location.

This makes the preparation more structured – and takes the pressure off your mind.

Why this is more than just a small reminder note

At first glance, notes might seem like a small additional feature.

However, they can be very valuable in everyday life.

Because good preparation consists of more than just music and order.
Often it is precisely the small thoughts, memories and next steps that make the difference.

When these things are neatly stored in the right place, you work in a more relaxed and clearer way.

Looking ahead: This is just the beginning.

Incidentally, saving and loading notes has another purpose.

For the future, a separate Class Designer planned.

The idea is that such notes can later be further developed and, in some cases, prepared almost automatically.

The new notes feature is therefore not only practical right now, but also a sensible step in this direction.

Or to put it another way:

What is a useful note-taking widget today could be the basis for much smarter preparation tomorrow.

Conclusion

The new notes widget makes Callers Caddy a bit more suitable for everyday use.

You can save thoughts, tasks and plans directly in the appropriate location, neatly separate open and completed items, and even save your notes as a file and reuse them later.

This is helpful for club nights, specials, performances and especially for classes.

Because sometimes, what you might otherwise have forgotten at the wrong moment is exactly what's worth its weight in gold.

Anyone who regularly calls for clubs, prepares a special, or teaches a class knows the problem: there are always a few things floating around in your head.
